Expert trimming and pruning to keep your trees healthy, safe, and looking their best year-round.
Proper trimming isn't just about looks — it's about tree health and safety. Dead branches, crossing limbs, and overgrown canopies create hazards and stress your trees. Our arborists make precise cuts that promote healthy growth and eliminate risk.
Tree trimming and pruning is both an art and a science. Cut too much and you stress the tree. Cut too little and the hazards remain. Our certified arborists understand tree biology — we know which branches to remove, where to make the cut, and when the optimal pruning season is for each species common to North Alabama. From crown thinning to deadwood removal, we do the work that keeps your trees healthy for decades. We follow ANSI A300 pruning standards on every job.

Most deciduous trees are best pruned in late winter (February–March) while dormant. However, dead branches can be removed any time of year. Flowering trees should be pruned right after they bloom.
Most mature trees benefit from pruning every 3–5 years. Younger trees may need more frequent attention to establish good structure. We'll recommend a schedule during our assessment.
Improper trimming (like topping) can severely damage or kill a tree. That's why we follow ANSI A300 standards and never remove more than 25% of a tree's canopy in a single season.
